Back To School

A few weeks ago we got back in the swing of school. Ethan started first grade, Noah started pre-school, and Bella was just glad to have the house all to herself. It was kind of a bittersweet day for all of us. And yes...I have spied on Ethan at the playground already.This is Noah's second year in pre-school and he feel like the "big man on campus". Ethan love ridding the bus and being able to take his lunch. He is slowly working his way to eating school lunch. Bella loves being able to be with mommy one on one for a few hours.

West Yellowstone Day Trip

For those of you who have never been to the Playmill in West Yellowstone, You will either get a great 2 hour nap, or think you have died and gone to heaven. I happen to be somewere in the middle. We love going up ther for the shows. Ethan and Noah got to go on stage for their birthdays. It was great to see them so excited. If you are ever in West Yellowstone durring the summer...The Playmill is a must!

Family Bowling Night

Since Bubba and I went away for Spring Break we wanted to do some fun stuff with the kids for their spring break. The boys love playing Wii Sports and have an obsession with bowling. We thought it would be fun to try a family bowling night at the local bowling alley. Well, little did we know that Bella would want to run down the lanes and hit the pins with her hands. When she was forced to stay away from the lanes she flipped. Anyone who knows Bella knows she is LOUD! TO say the least, the boys LOVED it and I loved staying out in the car while all of the boys enjoyed a night of bowling--Ethan even got a STRIKE!

The Cruise

For spring break Bubba took me on a cruise to try and relieve a little stress. We left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa (yes they are all still alive) and took a break from dance and work to enjoy a little sunshine and eachother. We went to the Bahamas and wished we could have stayed longer. It was a short 3 night cruise that felt like one! We ate, ate, and ate some more so a cruise is definately my paradise. We were able to travel with Jason and Robyn Clement (Bubba's Sister) and Scott and Tracy Simmons (The Clement's Friends). I wish the weather could have been better, but all in all we had a very relaxing time--I even took a nap. We visited the Atlantis Resort in Nassau which is for those who make more money than we do. It was very pretty, but the best thing was the Hot Stone massage I got to enjoy! We are noe back to reality and the kids didn't waist any time getting us there. Thanks Bubba for a great time and making remember how much fun we have together! I love you!

Bone/Mow 3rd Annual Snowmobile Adventure

For three years now we have gone snowmobiling with Michael and Wendy in Island Park. We have a ton of fun, a lot of close calls for our lives, and a great time away from all of our kids! Breanna and Leine are so great to watch all 9 kids and allow us some peace and quiet. This year was a little brutal with the soft new snow and lets just say we got stuck quite a bit. Enjoy!

Family Pictures

We just got back from our family trip to DISNEYLAND! Before we left we took some family pictures, since we were due for some updating! We told the boys that these pictures were for Disneyland and Mickey Mouse was watching to see if they were good or naughty. Usually with our family photos are not a happy time that brings a lot of good memories! This time was GREAT! They held still and smiled, and we walked away without crying children. I will be posting our trip to Disneyland along with everything else I need to catch up on soon!

Bella is 1 year old now and we took her to our wonderful photograpger friend Micha Wixom to have some pictures taken. It was a rough go at first, but after a while she realized that it was fun having your picture taken and turned into quite the poser. Only my daughter would be dressed in a Tu Tu with leg warmers. Maybe I am living through my child all ready. Enjoy the pictures and we will be putting more photos on of the Boys first days at school and Bella Princess Birthday Bash!

A Day in the MUD!

The house behind us just got built. They have had dirt landscaping for quite a while and the boys have loved it. Well, they just put in the yard. You would think that it would have eliminated the problem of dirty boys. WRONG! They put in sod and the sprinkler system. There is a patch of dirt left that will be filled in with rock, but in the meantime it is dirt. Combine spinklers watering the sod on a regular basis and dirt and you have a WONDERLAND for my boys. As you can see they really enjoyed themselves and it was pretty cute. Pretty cute the first time. but every night they want to go out and play in the mud. The shower is filthy after they are done, but we enjoy watching them get down and dirty!

Bella Really Does Exist

Everyone always comments that Bella is never in any photos with our family. Well, she is usally sleeping or not holding still so here are a few pictures of our Princess Bella! The joke has always been that I only married Bubba for his very attractive legs and curly hair (so my kids would have the curly locks as well). Unfortunately, my boys are blessed with my straight hair--but do not fear Bella has soft curls that just makes her pretty cute! She is truly the best baby girl! Look out world she is almost walking!

For Ethan's birthday he got his first "BIG BOY" bike. Bubba has been so patient with him and every night when he gets home from work they go out and ride around the neighborhood! Noah thinks he is big enough to ride it too, but gets on and realizes he can't go anywhere. He just wants to be like his big brother!

Potty Training Noah

It has been quite the process to try and get Noah (our genius child) to learn the importance of going potty in the potty! You would think that as smart as he is--he would have taught himself by now. I think he is too smart! Well, he told me that he needed big boy underwear with letters and numbers on them and then he would go to the potty. I searched everywhere for big boy underwear with letters and numbers on them. There were none to be found! Bubba made a desperate call to his mom and asked her to use her amazing sewing skills to make these underwear. She agreed and brought them out over the 4th of July! They were a hit and Noah LOVED them. However, he still refuses to use the potty. I guess he got some amazing underwear out of the whole thing! There are some that have his name, some with M&M's, and one pair that has the word DOG on them that he won't wear because he says "I am not a dog!)Thanks to Grammy for the underwear, you did such a great job. I wish I would have had her make some for Ethan, but I hope some princess ones are coming for Bella in a few years!

The 4th of July Continues (The Parade)

This was Bella's "after parade" fun! I am not sure who I worry about more--Bella or the Balloon!

Get it Ethan--Get it! He was so overwhelmed with which way he should run when all the candy came flying toward him! It was so fun to watch him!

Ethan loved chasing for candy! He was pretty agressive and got quite a stash. Noah was too busy crying over a scraped knee to get any candy. Marissa Bone gave him her bag which was very thoughtful!

It was pretty hot and with all of that running Ethan was pretty tired! He got a very red face from all that excitement!

Noah fell on the street and scrapped up his knee before the parade began. Of course he was pretty dramatic and it made for a lovely start to our experience. He screamed for quite a while and made everyone very happy. This picture is prior to the downward spiral that was about to take place!

Here is Ethan who was so excited to go to the parade with his cousin Jack! He is always very happy, but today he was exstatic! We love him!

WOW--what a nice looking boy! He thinks he is too cool for his mom all ready! Watch out ladies.

Pictures of our 4th of July Celebration (The Lake)

I think Noah is saying "What do you want Addie? Haven't I told you enough I want to play on my own!" Addie is always trying to get Noah to go along with her and sometimes he does, but sometimes he doen not! They are really cute together!

Since this was Noah's first time at the lake this year, we took more pictures of him than anyone else. He was also the only one who would hold still long enough to take a photo!

Noahhad a hard time wearing the life jacket, but decided to endure it in order to have fun in the water! He was so fun to watch!

What a cute kid! Noah loved the lake and playing in the sand. What a pose--he is just like his Daddy! He is really growing up and is able to play on his own without drowning--what a milestone in our lives.

This was Bella's first trip out in her adorable swimming suit! It is pretty fun having a girl to get all dolled up!

Bubba and Breann were the lucky ones who got to ride behind the boat until it broke down! We were unable to get it going again and so the kids ended up enjoying swimming! It worked out great!

Here is Ethan suited up and ready to swim! Ethan always poses like this for the camers and we are really trying to work on a more natural picture smile--it is not working too well!

Bella and Lyla got to hang out together at the lake. You can tell that they were both thrilled to be sharing the crib space with another baby just there size! It didn't last long with trying to get them to share toys, food, and the crib!

4th of July

Here are the children loaded up in the car for the 4th of July Celebration. We were able to spend the holiday with the Bone family as well as Grammy and Pappy Reid! The festivities began on Thursday July 3rd with a trip to the lake, a sleep over that night, a great time at the Rexburg Parade, movie and shopping, concluding at the Idaho Falls Fireworks Spectacular! The boys loved every minute of it and so did Bubba and I. Bella wasn't too vocal about her feelings, but seemed to be very well behaved. Here are a few pictures of our events--hope you enjoy!

Lyla Bone's Birthday Trip to Mesa Falls

The Mow and Bone Family Boat Trip

We love having the Bone's to take us boating! It is always a great time and a whole lot of fun. On this trip we left Noah and Bella at home, letting Ethan enjoy his own time with Mom and Dad. He loved riding in the tube with his favorite cousin Jack. It is so nice to have family close to spend time with and create such fun memories. THANK YOU BONE FAMILY! After boating, we took Ethan to his favorite place to eat--Johnny Carinos for some noodles with butter and cheese! What a great day!

Here are a few pictures of Ethan's latest soccer game! As you can see there are moments of agressiveness, lots of sweat, fast running, and then in the end the collapse in the middle of the field since he did not score a goal. I guess you can't expect too much from this age right? He is pretty funny to watch! We are very proud of him and hope he begins to understand Teamwork a little better throughout life!

This is the Princess of our household. After 2 boys mommy was ready for that girl! She is a dream baby and will be 10 months old in July. She is dressed to kill every day and wrestles with her brothers too! She is getting ready to walk so everyone watch out! She is a great sleeper which has given her parents their sanity back. The big question is will she be a dancer? I think her interests will be softball, volleyball, heck even football! She is sweet, happy, and very chilled out--I guess you have to be with 2 older brothers!

Noah Everett Mow

This is our little genius Noah who is going to be 3 next month. If I can brag for a moment, he is truly our smarty pants. He can read, write, and memorize pretty much anything. I am not sure where he recieved this gift, but we won't complain. He will start pre-school next fall and is beyond thrilled. He watches Ethan and is devastated when he gets to go and Noah is left to play with mommy and Bella. He loves letters, numbers, shapes, colors and "THE WIGGLES". It is adorable to watch him do the dances and sing the songs with Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony.

This is Ethan and he will be turning the big 5 in July! He is growing up a little too fast and is a little too smart! Ethan is a lot like his Dad and can give you a run for your money. He just finished Pre-School and is extremly excited to go to Kindergarten in the Fall. He is playing soccer this summer and hasn't quite figured out that not every time can he make the goal. Team work is not his strong point and instead of trying again, he either walks off the field or colapses in a ball in the middle of the field. We are so proud!

This is the introduction to our new family Blog! The Mow's are made up of Michael and Amy Mow who have been married for almost nine years. In that nine years we have added 3 children to our family--Ethan who is almost 5, Noah who is almost 3 and our little Princess Bella who is 9 months old (sorry she was napping at the time of the photo!). This is our first attempt at a "Blog" and we did a little checking and realized we are one of the only people who didn't have one. Hope you enjoy!
